In autumn, when the “Törggelen“ time starts, it is very beautiful to walk from the castle “Korb” to the ruin “Boymont”, castle “Hocheppan” and the chalk tower, with a short stop in one of the typical restaurants. New wine, home-made specialties and a friendly get-together, for example in the “Paulsner Dorfkeller”, are part of this autumn spirit. The nearby castle “Sigmundskron” is also worth a visit. The legendary Reinhold Messner opened a museum there in 2006, the Messner-Mountain-Museum. Guided tours are offered every day.
